This post demonstrates the downside of memes. Instead of increasing insight and understanding this one dumbs it down. "Prosecutorial immunity" is a choice and a dictum of protection issued at the discretion of one person (a judge or state's attorney) for their institutional selfish purpose. "Human immunity to infectious agents" is blessed, natural, God given, human resilience enabling (literally) individual and species survival in a threatening world. The absolutely GREATEST advance that medical science has EVER made is finding ways to boost natural immunity. Those folks who are anti-vax are not only committing moral suicide, they are promoting the death of multitudes (over 200,000 in USA due to COVID) and eventually the destruction of civic society.
I'm trying to explain to you that most people understand the word as a binary of on or off. But it went right over your head. I guess it's hopeless. We'll never get public health doctors to understand how to communicate to the public with words they understand the meaning of. Instead, doctors will merely insult the public for not using their specialized medical lingo.
We are going through the same storm in different boats. My observation and framing was based on the association of an anti-vax attitude with fundamentalist religious values. A good meme would convey that getting immunized fits better with their values than not.
The meme and your comment did go over my head I do not see how the issue of binary versus multifactorial would change attitudes based on deeply felt values.
MDs who are pro-vax and well meaning were the target audience of this post.
And your messaging to pro-vax liberals fails if they think they're "good to go" as long as they're vaccinated. And they absolutely believe it's a binary. "You're immune" means "get out of infection free" (like legal immunity)
Thanks now I see what you are getting at. You are aiming at blinkered pro-vax people whose messaging misses the mark and I was aiming at anti-vax people who live in a different cognitive world.

Yes. If you have any other suggestions go for it! Tell me what the meme should look like!
